About MetodaLab
MetodaLab connects each student with the right expert: a statistician for the data, a methodologist for the method chapter, an editor for the text, a translator for the abstract. The goal is that you understand your own work and can stand behind it.
How it works
You tell us where you're stuck, your degree and field, and your deadline. We read every request, match an expert by field and type of help, and come back with a written quote.
Some jobs we do ourselves; others go to partner experts, for example in translation and editing. Either way, you know in advance who is working with you and for how much.
Who the experts are
Statisticians, methodologists, editors and translators with academic experience in your field. We match an expert by field, degree level and type of help, and never pass a request to someone who doesn't do exactly that.
What we don't do
We don't write papers to be submitted in a student's name. We analyse, explain, edit, teach and give feedback on work you write. That is what most university regulations allow, and it is also what holds up when your supervisor asks questions.
Four languages
The site, the guides and the service are available in Hebrew, English, Russian and Arabic, because many students in Israel study in a language that isn't their first.
Free guides and tools
Dozens of guides on statistics, the method chapter, academic writing and using AI correctly, plus a statistical test chooser. They are open to everyone, including people who never contact us.
Tell us what you need. It takes two minutes, with no obligation.
